2023 Flying Eagles Invitee Owen Goodman is on the verge of joining English English Football League club Colchester United from Crystal Palace.
Football Insider, tweeted at 1620 hours that the young goalkeeper is already having his medical with the League Two side though it remains to be seen whether he is moving on a loan deal or permanently.
The 19-year-old goalie joined Crystal Palace as a schoolboy and has risen through the ranks to play for the U18s and the development side.
He made 23 appearances for the young Eagles in the U18 Premier League and has made 22 appearances in the Premier League 2.
The English-born goalkeeper signed his first professional contract with Crystal Palace in 2021 and signed a contract extension in November, 2022.
While he is yet to feature for the first team, he has made the bench on four occasions in the Premier League with his first appearance being against Wolves in October 2022.
