Fabrizio Romano reveals AC Milan are in advanced talks to sign Chukwueze
Published: July 21, 2023
Seven-time European champions Ac Milan are looking to complete a deal for Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze.
As reported by transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the Italian giants are advancing in negotiations with Villarreal for the electric winger.
According to Romano, the Villarreal star is keen on joining the Milan-based side and has agreed personal terms with the club.
AC Milan have identified Chukwueze as the ideal candidate for the right side of their attack and have been in negotiation with Villarreal for his services.
However, the 30 million euros price tag being quoted by the Yellow Submarine has proven to be the stumbling block to the parties agreeing on a deal.
The 24-year-old was in sensational form last season for the 2021 Europa League champions as they finished 5th in the Spanish La Liga.
He posted 24 goal contributions in 50 appearances across all competitions for Quique Setién's side which is the most he has recorded in his career in a single season.
The Rossoneri are also on the verge of completing a deal for cap-tied Switzerland international of Nigeria descent Noah Okafor from Red Bull Salzburg.
