Alhan Cup: FWC FC set up semifinal meeting with NYSC after topping Group A

The stage is now set for the semi final of the Alhan Cup 2024.

FWC FC topped Group A despite playing a 0 - 0 draw with Likeminds FC in the last group game.

Having recorded a 3 - 1 victory over The Kings FC and a 1 - 0 win over Setraco FC, FWC FC only needed a draw in the last group game to top Group A.

The team is already looking ahead of their semifinal clash against NYSC FC billed for Tuesday at the FIFA Goal Project Center, Abuja.

Head coach Bunmi Haruna says his team will continue to learn as they progress in the preseason tournament.

"Our aim is to use the tournament to find the player combinations and formula that works for us ahead if the NLO1 season and the FA Cup," Haruna told reporters. 

"I'm happy our players are responding positively and it can only get better. We looking forward to a tough game in the semi final and our immediate aim is to progress to the final."
