2021 Super Eagles invitee open to a move to Man Utd despite interest from Chelsea, Liverpool
Published: March 11, 2024
2021 Super Eagles invitee and Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise is reportedly open to a move to Premier League giants Manchester United next summer.
According to FootballTransfers, despite interest from Chelsea and Liverpool, Olise is more receptive to joining the 20-time English champions.
It is no longer news that the Red Devils are one of the admirers of the France U21 international who is set to become another subject of interest from European heavyweights next summer.
The Old Trafford outfit's interest in the 22-year-old stems from the fact that 2022 summer arrival, Antony has failed to impress while the days of Jadon Sancho, currently on loan with Borussia Dortmund, seem to be numbered.
As revealed in the report, the French-Nigerian forward has a release clause of around £60m which can be activated by any club, a valuation Manchester United should afford with the arrival of Jim Ratcliffe's owned INEOS group.
Ratcliffe is said to be pushing for a squad overhaul with Erik ten Hag's side playing poorly at the moment and Olise is one of the players being targeted.
Also on their target list is Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen as we had mentioned in an earlier report.
