West Ham enter the race to sign Super Eagles-eligible defender
Published: March 12, 2024
West Ham have entered the race to sign Super Eagles-eligible player Tosin Adarabioyo who is set to become a free agent at the end of the season.
As reported by Give Me Sport, the London-based club are pushing to get a deal done for the Fulham right center-back.
West Ham have been vulnerable defensively all season, conceding 49 goals in the Premier League, the most among teams in the top half of the table.
The Hammers' defensive woes could see them miss out on playing in Europe next season, as they have a negative difference at the moment though they have more points than the teams jostling for the final European slots with them.
In a bid to solve this frailty, David Moyes' side wants to sign Tosin who has got the Premier League experience and has proven his quality over the years in the colors of Fulham.
It has been suggested in some quarters that the Manchester City Academy product should be included in the Three Lions squad for the Euros, a testament to how well he has played this season.
The 26-year-old is also being targeted by AC Milan who would also like to sign him as a free agent next summer.
