Opinion: Why Manchester United and not Chelsea or Liverpool is the perfect club for Olise
Published: March 13, 20242021 Super Eagles invitee Micheal Olise is set to be the subject of a transfer tussle between Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
While all the aforementioned clubs are potentially good destinations for the Crystal Palace star forward, he is better off at Manchester United, and here is why.
He is more likely to get straight into the starting lineup at Old Trafford than in Stamford Bridge or Anfield as the Red Devils lack a quality right winger.
The club is ready to dump Antony and Jadon Sancho in the coming window and that explains their interest in the French youth international.
At Chelsea, there will be Cole Palmer to contend with, Mohamed Salah still has a year left in his contract with Liverpool while Harvey Elliot, Luis Díaz, and Diogo Jota can fit into that position if the Egyptian decides to call it quits.
Not only will be a guaranteed starter at Manchester United, but there is also the allure of being the poster boy for one of the biggest clubs in Europe as he has been penciled down to be one of the players to kickstart a new reign at the club.
Success might not be guaranteed at the time of joining the Red Devils but with the mission and track record of Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS group who are now in charge of football operations, it is only a matter of time before the club regains its status in the summit of English football.
Based on the foregoing, Olise should embrace the calling of Manchester United and reject the advances of Chelsea and Liverpool.
