Chelsea not planning to offload Super Eagles-eligible winger amid reports of summer exit
Published: April 24, 2024
Chelsea are not ready to sell Super Eagles-eligible player Noni Madueke amid reports linking him with an exit from the club in the summer.
According to Express UK citing transfer insider Ben Jacobs, the Stamford Bridge outfit are not ready to part ways with the talented winger with the hope that he improves over the next couple of seasons.
Madueke has struggled for form and consistency since joining the Blues and with the club looking to balance their books to avoid sanction for breaching the financial regulations, it is not surprising to see him being linked with an exit.
Yesterday marked the first time this season where the 22-year-old player participated in three consecutive Premier League matches, featuring for 79 minutes against high-flying Arsenal.
He scored a fantastic goal in their dramatic win over Leicester City in the quarterfinal of the FA Cup last month and also scored with another amazing strike against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane some weeks ago.
The England youth international has featured in 28 games across all competitions this season and has seven goal involvements.
