Tottenham Hotspur urged to splash the cash on former Super Eagles invitee
Published: May 12, 2024
Former England midfielder Jamie O'Hara has urged Tottenham to cash in on Dejan Kulusevski and get in-form Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, as his replacement.
The former Super Eagles invitee is set to be a subject of transfer tussle between European heavyweights in the summer following another impressive campaign.
He put up another impressive performance for Crystal Palace yesterday in their 3-1 win over Wolves in the penultimate matchday of the Premier League played at the Molineux.
The France U21 international opened the scoring for the Eagles to take his goal tally to 10 for the season and also registered an assist in the game.
In contrast, Kulusevski has not been consistent for Tottenham, registering just two goal involvements in the Premier League since the turn of the year.
He has six goals and three assists across all competitions this season and it's no surprise that there is a call for him to be sold in the summer.
Speaking on talkSPORT alongside Gabriel Agbonlahor, O'Hara has urged Tottenham to splash the cash on Olise.
"Eze, I love watching him, but Olise, for me, star player. Good player. He glides past people. Obviously, Mateta, up front, he is banging in goals, but them two, mate," he was quoted as saying by TEAMtalk.
"He is going to end up at the top. I know Palace would try to keep hold of him as much as they can."
"I would snap your hand off for him. Kulusevski, see you later."
Olise is already being targeted by Manchester United and Chelsea which means Tottenham will have to move swiftly if they are to join the race for the mercurial forward
