The Super Falcons were held to a goalless draw by Algeria but still advanced to the quarterfinals as group winners.

Allnigeriasoccer.com rates the performance of the players.

The starters

Goalkeeper

Chiamaka Nnadozie: The Super Falcons goalkeeper enjoyed a largely uneventful game, with minimal pressure and hardly any real threats to deal with. (7/10)

Miracle Usani: Usani put in a solid defensive performance but was substituted in the second half to make way for added attacking firepower. (7/10)

Oluwatosin Demehin: Given the responsibility of leading the defense in the absence of regular starters, she delivered a decent performance, though the lack of attacking threat from Algeria made her job considerably easier. (7/10)

Sikiratu Isah: Isah delivered a strong defensive display for Nigeria, effectively dealing with the few threats posed by the Algerian attack. (6/10)

Shukurat Oladipo: She  delivered an impressive performance, effectively handling the limited threats from the Algerians while consistently supporting the attack. (6/10)

Midfielders and forwards

Christy Ucheibe: Ucheibe stepped in for the suspended Abiodun in midfield but struggled to break down Algeria’s resilient and compact defensive setup. (6/10)

Rasheedat Ajibade: The Super Falcons captain once again fell short of her usual best, but she brought energy to the midfield and frequently shifted to the right wing to support the wingers. (5/10)

Jennifer Echegini: The PSG midfielder showed glimpses of her quality and had a good opportunity to put Nigeria ahead but failed to convert. (6/10)

Francisca Ordega: Ordega showed glimpses of her brilliance but lacked composure in front of goal, failing to convert a clear chance in the first half. (4.5/10)

Chinwendu Ihezuo: Ihezuo struggled to make a significant impact in her first start of the tournament and was eventually substituted in the second half. (4/10)

Ifeoma Onumonu: Once again, Onumonu struggled to make an impact for Nigeria, finding it difficult to break through Algeria's compact defensive setup. (4/10)

The substitutes

Esther Okoronkwo: Okoronkwo delivered another impressive performance off the bench, injecting energy and spark into the Super Falcons' attack upon her introduction. (6/10)

Rinsola Babajide: The former Liverpool forward posed a constant threat to the Algerian defense with her pace and direct style of play. (5/10)

Folashade Ijamilusi: Ijamilusi made her second appearance of the tournament but wasted a key opportunity to break the deadlock.(4/10)
