Confirmed: Slavia Prague loan out ex-Flying Eagles striker again after Plymouth Argyle spell
Published: July 31, 2025
With a statement on the official website, Czech champions Slavia Prague have announced that former Nigeria U20 international Muhamed Tijani has been loaned out to First League rivals SK Sigma Olomouc.
Tijani is heading out on loan again after spending the whole of last season at EFL club Plymouth Argyle.
He made 14 appearances across all competitions for the Pilgrims, scoring twice and was also part of the Plymouth side that stunned Premier League champions Liverpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup, contributing to one of the competition’s most memorable upsets of the season.
Tijani arrived at Slavia Prague in 2023 and has played a total of 33 competitive matches for the capital outfit, registering seven goal involvements (4 goals, 3 assists).
He played in three matches in Slavia's summer training, scoring a goal against the Hungarian team DVTK.
SK Sigma Olomouc had shown interest in Tijani since last season, but the towering forward opted to pursue a move abroad instead.
Tijani has made 73 appearances in the Czech top flight, registering 14 goals over the course of his time in the league.
Apart from the aforementioned clubs, he has worn the colours of Baník Ostrava, Třinec, Karviná and Karviná in the past.
Tijani featured in all four matches played by the Flying Eagles at the 2019 Fifa U20 World Cup in Poland, finding the net in a 1–1 group stage draw against Ukraine.
