Chibby Nwoko: Left-footed midfielder who shares same agent as Iwobi nominated for Fulham GOTM
Published: October 05, 2025
Fulham have asked their supporters to vote for the club's Goal of the Month for September 2025, with a Nigerian player Chibby Nwoko making the shortlist.
The Cottagers have picked out a shortlist of six contenders from across the men's, women's and Academy teams to choose from.
Chibby Nwoko has been shortlisted for his brilliant strike during Fulham's 2-0 victory over West Brom in a Premier League 2 encounter at Motspur Park on September 19.
With five minutes remaining on the clock, the left-footed midfielder sealed the victory, calmly dispatching a fine effort to double his side's advantage.
In his bid for the Premier League Goal of the Month award, Nwoko faces stiff competition from Harry Wilson, whose stunning finish against Brentford is also among the shortlisted contenders.
Other nominees include Farhan Ali Wahid and Ellie Olds, who has been triple nominated.
Nwoko is looked after by Emeka Obasi's Elite Project Group Limited, which also manages the affairs of Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Joe Aribo, Josh Maja, and Terem Moffi.
The 19-year-old signed his first professional contract with Fulham in the summer of 2024.
Singed from Chelsea at U12 level, Nwoko has been described as a versatile player who can play anywhere in midfield but has been more regularly used as a midfield enforcer because of his ability to dictate the pace of games with his calmness on the ball.
Although he has caps for England's Young Lions, he is open to representing the Nigerian national teams.
