Didier Ya Konan: We Will Get Through This
Published: February 03, 2013
Hannover 96 star Didier Ya Konan is targeting a starting shirt against Nigeria this afternoon at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the quarter-finals of the African Nations Cup.
The former Asec Mimosas striker got off the mark in the group stage, coming on as a substitute to score against Tunisia.
''We are sharpened for the match against Nigeria at large. It is true that we are considered the favorites for the competition. But we shall not sleep on our laurels. We will give the best of ourselves to get through this and continue our journey to the trophy,'' Konan told reporters.
