Victor Moses Declares Himself Fit For Afcon Final
Published: February 09, 2013
Ahead of the African Cup of Nations final game against Burkina Faso, there is good news for coach Stephen Keshi . Chelsea winger Victor Moses has declared himself fit for the tie at Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg.
Victor Moses trained without difficulty with the rest of the Super Eagles squad on Saturday evening. It is almost a foregone conclusion that the youngster will be considered for selection in Sunday's final.
Moses said on his official Twitter account: ''Training today and injury should be fine. Looking forward to massive game tomorrow.''
In another Tweet, he said: ''Good training session today. The lads are all looking sharp for the game tomorrow, can't wait to get going''.
But Spartak Moscow hitman Emmanuel Emenike, the leading scorer in the tournament with four strikes, is unlikely to feature in his first major final at club or international level. He did not train with the group today.
