Patrick Mboma, Ali Benarbia Congratulate Keshi
Published: February 11, 2013
Former Algerian international Ali Benarbia and member of the Dream Team of RMC Sport has commended Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi for winning the African Cup of Nations yesterday in Johannesburg.
''We did not pay much attention to this Nigerian team. But it is really deserved tactically and technically. Congratulations to Keshi. He did a great job with his country,'' Benarbia told Radio Monte Carlo.
Ex Cameroon star Patrick Mboma has also hailed the Nigeria selection tutored by Stephen Keshi, who in his active days played in France for RC Strasbourg.
The RMC consultant said: ''Nigeria defeated Ivory Coast in the quarter final and Mali in the semis. The Nigerian team was fresh physically and mentally. Without any argument, the result is logical. They might have even scored a second goal. This is a great victory for Nigeria and a victory in another sense for Burkina Faso.''
