Sports editors from Romsdal Budstikke, Aftenbladet.no, Fædrelandsvennen, Adresseavisen, Bladet Tromsø, Aftenposten and football expert Lars Tjærnås were among the panelists that selected the players.
In the 2012 campaign, Owello, 24, scooped the award for the Player of the Season in Norway's first division. He has not been capped as a full international .
Fegor Ogude's appearances for Vif were limited last season as a result of injury. The African champion is expected to take the league by storm this term.
