Influential Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten has chosen two Nigerian players - Fegor Ogude and Solomon Owello - in its list of Top 50 Players in the Premier League.
While Nigeria international and Vålerenga midfielder Fegor Ogude was ranked in the 24th position, former Flying Eagles playmaker and IK Start ace Solomon Owello was classified in 14th place.
Sports editors from Romsdal Budstikke, Aftenbladet.no, Fædrelandsvennen, Adresseavisen, Bladet Tromsø, Aftenposten and football expert Lars Tjærnås were among the panelists that selected the players.
In the 2012 campaign, Owello, 24, scooped the award for the Player of the Season in Norway's first division. He has not been capped as a full international .
Fegor Ogude's appearances for Vif were limited last season as a result of injury. The African champion is expected to take the league by storm this term.
