FC Midtjylland's Noah Ojuola Eyeing National Team Call Up
Published: May 28, 2013
FC Midtjylland youngster Noah Ojuola wants to represent the Under 23 National Team if he's handed the opportunity by the selectors.
The ex FC Ebedei talent thought he would be considered for the Flying Eagles but was snubbed by manager John Obuh when he named his provisional squad for next month's Fifa Under 20 World Cup.
In a telephone conversation with allnigeriasoccer.com from Denmark on Tuesday morning, Ojuola disclosed: ''My dream was to play for the Flying Eagles but I failed to make the squad.
''I believe in my qualities and want to show what I can do if I selected. I hope I get my opportunity with the Under 23 team.''
After three seasons with Midtjylland, Ojuola will depart the Jutland club with effect from June 30, 2013.
''It's the management's decision not to offer me a new contract and I must respect that. I want to thank them for accepting me in the first place. These three years spent with FCM made me a better player.
''Until I get myself a new club, I won't be traveling to Nigeria for my summer vacation. There is no offer from any club yet. My agent is working on that. You know the league in Denmark just ended,'' adds Ojuola.
