Tahiti Announce Squad For Confederations Cup

Manager of Tahiti National Team, Eddy Etaeta has named a 23 - man squad for the Fifa Confederations Cup.
The only professional named by the gaffer is the ex France youth -teamer and Nancy forward Marama Vahirua, who played on loan last season for Greece Super League side Panthrakikos.
Interestingly, four members of the same family made the roster - Jonathan, Lorenzo, Alvin and Teaonui Tehau.
An analysis of the squad showed that 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders , 8 midfielders and 4 attackers have been selected for the trip to Brazil.
Tahiti, Oceania kings, are in Group B of the Confederations Cup alongside Spain, Nigeria and Uruguay.

Defenders: Rainui Aroita, Edson Lemaire, Teheivarii Ludivion, Stéphane Faatiaru, Simon Vincent, Nicolas Vallar, Yannick True, Tamatoa Wagemann;
Midfielders: Ricky Aitmai, Stanley Atani Heimano Bourebare, Henri Caroine, Alvin Tehau, Jonathan Tehau, Lorenzo Tehau, Yoann Tihoni;
Forwards: Steevy Chong-Hue, Samuel Hnanyine, Teaonui Tehau, Marama Vahirua (Panthrakikos).
