EXCLUSIVE: Oke Akpoveta On The Brink Of Leaving Brondby For Turkey
Published: August 21, 2013
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigerian youngster Oke Akpoveta could depart Brondby this summer, with teams in Greece, Norway and Turkey thinking of offering him a contract.
The 21 - year - old's situation is still the same, having not made an appearance in the Superliga in the current campaign.
And as a result Oke Akpoveta, who feels under-appreciated, wants to leave Brondby for a new club where he is guaranteed match time.
At the moment, an unnamed Turkish side are in pole position to secure the signature of the attacker, and it is understood that the player's representative is thrashing out a deal.
There is no point of conflict between the parties and a formal announcement on the transfer could be made in the coming days if not hours.
Oke Akpoveta is under contract until the summer of 2015, meaning he will net Brondby a transfer fee except he mutually ends his collaboration with the 10 - time champions of Denmark.
