Werder Bremen Sporting Director Thomas Eichin : Akpala Has Very Good Quality
Published: September 05, 2013
Werder Bremen Sporting Director Thomas Eichin has commented on Joseph Akpala's transfer to Kardemir Demir çelik Karabükspor.
The Nigeria international attacker appended his signature on a season - long loan deal with the Turkish Super Lig club on Tuesday.
'' Joseph Akpala has very good quality but has not yet been able to really stand out with us.
'' He now has the opportunity in Turkey to get the confidence a striker needs,'' Eichin told the official website of the Bundesliga club, werder.de.
27 - year - old Akpala played 21 matches for Werder Bremen in the 2013 - 2013 season, with his only strike coming against Freiburg last September.
His contract with The Green - Whites expires in June 2016.
