Official : Semi Ajayi Inks Two - Year Deal With Arsenal

Arsenal have signed Nigeria youth international Semi Ajayi on a two - year contract, the player, himself has announced.
The 19 - year - old defender, touted in some quarters as the ‘Next Sol Campbell’, impressed the Gunners chiefs during trials and has been rewarded with a contract which keeps him at the Emirates until 2015.
Semi Ajayi said on Twitter :“Delighted to announce that I have officially signed for @Arsenal FC. Can’t wait to see what the next two seasons here have in store for me.
“It was sad to end my ten year spell with Charlton this summer but I can’t speak highly enough of all of the wonderful people I met during my ten years there.
“I wish all those at @CAFCofficial the best for the future as I will always have a soft spot for the club and its fans.”
The center back trained with Norwich City this summer but failed to agree terms with the club.
