Official: Musefiu Ashiru Extends Contract With FCM Until 2017
Published: January 03, 2014
With a note on its official website, Danish Superliga surprise team of the season so far, FC Midtjylland has announced that it has extended the cooperation with talented Nigerian winger Musefiu Ashiru until the summer of 2017.
This past summer, the Jutland outfit had prolonged the contract of another highly rated starlet Paul Onuachu for three years while Ashiru penned a one - year deal.
But management of FCM in its wisdom decided to add some years on top of the deal he signed seven months ago.
“Musefiu is a player who has convinced us of his great individual qualities.
“He is the fastest player we have received from our Nigerian cooperative club FC Ebedei, and he’s put at this time far better than we have seen from players who have only been here for a year and half do,”says head coach Glen Riddersholm to fcm.dk.
