Ejike Uzoenyi Motivated For Kano Pillars Clash Without Cash Incentive
Published: March 21, 2014
Enugu Ranger manager John Obuh has sensationally dropped Senegalese defender Pierre Coly from the list of 18 players that he would summon for the upcoming meeting with Kano Pillars.
The center back missed the trip to Enyimba on Saturday morning, and despite being in good physical condition plus participating in full training on Friday morning, John Obuh has given him a rest .
Meanwhile, Nigeria international Ejike Uzoenyi will be on parade for the first time this season in a competitive match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
And the winger has stated that whether or not there is a cash incentive, he is well motivated for the game with Kano Pillars.
“Yes, the management ahs promised us extra cash incentives to beat Kano Pillars. But if you love the game, you play for the love you have for the game .
“Though important, it is not about cash, some play for pride,” says Uzoenyi to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Enugu Rangers defeated Kano Pillars 4 - 0 in this same fixture during the 2013 campaign.
