Juwon Oshaniwa Returns To Ashdod Lineup
Published: March 30, 2014
Israeli Premier League campaigners MS Ashdod lost to Ironi Ramat Hasharon by the odd goal in a relegation playoff tie on Saturday.
Nigeria international Juwon Oshaniwa made a return to the Dolphins lineup after being ignored for selection in the last two matches.
Playing an unfamiliar role, Oshaniwa was the most outstanding player on the pitch for Ashdod and the scoreline would have been higher if not for his effectiveness in defense.
The 23 - year - old fullback has recorded 21 appearances this season while teammate and compatriot Yero Bello has suited up 26 times (6 goals).
MS Ashdod are eight points above the relegation spots occupied by Bnei Yehuda, Maccabi Petah Tikva and Ironi Ramat Hasharon.
