Anthony Nwakaeme Still Motivated To Score Goals
Published: April 26, 2014
Anthony Nwakaeme has stressed that he is still motivated to score goals for Hapoel Ra’anana despite the club not competing for silverware again this season.
The 25 - year - old attacker netted for the second consecutive game as Hapoel Ra’anana shared the spoils with MS Ashdod (1 - 1) on Saturday.
“Before now, I was just unlucky finding the back of the net but as you can see now I am smiling. I get my motivation from life because when there is life every other things will come,” Anthony Nwakaeme said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
In recent time, so many Nigerian players are flocking to the Israeli championship as they are guaranteed more wages than what they would have earned in some leagues in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
“I think the players go to where they offer them something. In football you must be ready to move to anywhere in the world.
“So for now Israel is the place working for the players and their agent,” he added.
Anthony Nwakaeme represented Romanian teams Universitatea Cluj, Petrolul PloieÅti and ArieÅul Turda before his switch to Hapoel Ra’anana at the start of this season.
