Sylvester Igboun Forgives Midtjylland After Failed Move To Shanghai SIPG
Published: February 05, 2015
Sylvester Igboun claims to have forgiven FC Midtjylland in the wake of his failed transfer to Shanghai SIPG hours before the close of the Danish transfer window.
The Wolves went back on their word after misleading the Nigerian that he would be freed from his contract if they receive an offer.
“I forgive them and I have to try to move on. I just want to be myself as before,”Sylvester Igboun told TV 2 Sport Denmark.
“I can not go and be mad, because then I can not perform my best. And I really like. For I also want to win gold with them - it would be a dream come true.”
Though the transfer window in China remains open until February 27, FC Midtjylland chiefs have hinted that Igboun will not be sold until this summer.
