Long Serving Midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu Announces FC Midtjylland Departure

FC Midtjylland longstanding midfield player Izunna Uzochukwu has completed 170 first team appearances for the club, but will depart the MCH Arena as a free agent in the summer.
With the Champions League qualifiers ahead, it might be tempting to remain, but that has the 25-year-old Nigerian has other plans.
“No, maybe I am on course to play Champions League in my new club, who knows, ” says Izunna to bold.dk.
“We have been waiting for this for a long time, and I am just about to finish with a championship, and it feels like the right time for me to move on.
“The most important thing is to go somewhere where I can enjoy my game and maybe play Europa League or Champions League. ”
The FC Ebedei product has ruled out a transfer to China , adding that he would prefer to remain in Europe.
