Published: June 10, 2015
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F are exploring ways to sign Leke James from Aalesund ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
Guangzhou R&F could lose the services of the prolific Morocco international Abderazak Hamdallah in the coming days and have targeted Leke James as his replacement.
The Chinese Super League club and Aalesund are currently locked in talks over a fee for the Nigerian striker.
But Guangzhou R&F should act fast as Leke James’ transfer situation is also being monitored by teams based in Germany, Holland, Russia and Turkey among others.
The 22 - year - old has contractual obligations with Aalesund until the end of next season.
He joined the Color Line Stadion outfit from Nigerian club Julius Berger in January 2012, and has scored 27 goals in the Norwegian Premier League since his debut.
