Tanzania Coach Sends Warning To Super Eagles
Published: September 05, 2015
Tanzania are hoping to get their African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign back on track with a victory against Nigeria on Saturday at the National Stadium, having lost their opening game to Egypt 3 - 0.
Coach Boniface Mkwasa has not written off the chances of his side picking up their first win against the Africa powerhouse without kicking a ball, and has warned the Super Eagles that it will not be a stroll in the park when both teams clash.
“Nigeria have always been a strong team with highly talented players and I remember the last time I faced them I was still a player but on Saturday it will be different as all eyes will be on me and the players, ” Boniface Mkwasa was quoted as saying by The Citizen.
“A section of pundits have already written us off , which takes off the pressure from our players a bit, but I want to warn the Nigerians that it will not be business as usual in Dar es Salaam as we want nothing short of victory.”
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles and the technical crew had their matchday team walk few hours ago
