Golden Eaglets striker Victor Osimhen has issued a warning to the Nigeria U17s group rivals - United States, Chile and Croatia - revealing that the team can defend the trophy they won in the United Arab Emirates two years ago.
The Nigeria delegation arrived in Santiago on Wednesday morning after holding a training camp in Buenos Aires, where they played two warm - up games ahead of their World Cup opener against the USA on Saturday night.
“We are here to win,” Osimhen said in a press release sent by the Nigeria Football Federation.
“Just as the coach said, we are here to write our own story as a team and players.”
