Brown Ideye, Joseph Akpala Help Clubs Record Wins

Joseph Akpala scored a dramatic winner as KV Oostende left it late to beat Westerlo 1 - 0 in the Pro League on Sunday.

There was little to choose between the two sides and the game looked to be heading for a goalless draw until the Nigeria international popped up with the game - winner in the first minute of stoppage time, after his introduction in the 84th minute.

Akpala started the season brightly and was involved in 4 goals in his first 7 matches for KV Oostende but fired blanks in his last nine prior to game against  Westerlo.

Another Nigeria international striker, Brown Ideye, assisted Olympiakos win their 11th Super League game on the spin, scoring in the 86th minute in the 3 - 1 defeat of  Asteras Tripolis.

The 27 - year - old has netted 5 goals ( 3 assist)  in 9 matches so far in the top flight.
