Hope Akpan Says Blackburn Rovers Have Improved Under New Boss
Published: December 04, 2015
Hope Akpan believes the Blackburn Rovers squad has improved offensively and defensively since Paul Lambert took over as manager in mid - November.
Rovers have played two games in the Championship since then, winning once and drawing the other, while scoring four goals in the process.
“The signs are there that we are doing what the manager wants us to do,” Hope Akan said to rovers.co.uk.
“We are closing down, we are pressing and we are on the front foot which is what we want so hopefully we are going in the right direction.
“I believe in this side, I think we’ve got good players, and if we can apply ourselves and be really disciplined we can get to where we want to be which is the play-offs.”
