Juventus offered a far better package than Manchester City but Kelechi Iheanacho’s father, James Iheanacho, preferred a move to the Etihad Stadium ahead of The Bianconeri.
The Nigeria international put pen to paper on a four - year deal with Manchester City in January after he clocked 18, with The Citizens paying his nursery team Taye Academy £350,000 for his services.
Kelechi Iheanacho was also courted by PAOK, Stoke City, Hamburg,Sporting Lisbon, Udinese, Monaco, Chelsea and Porto before penning a preliminary contract with City.
Now 19, he has scored 3 goals in all competitions for Man City since he made his debut against Watford late August.
