According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com`s editorial staff, Ifeanyi Ubah FC are in the market for defensive reinforcements ahead of the start of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
One of the candidates being considered by the Nnewi side is Nigeria Under 23 international Zaharadeen Bello, who defended the colours of Kano Pillars for a portion of last season on loan from Dabo Babes Academy.
Kano Pillars are yet to start negotiations with Bello`s minders over the extension of his stay at the Sani Abacha Stadium but it will be premature to say they are not in the race for his signature.
The 18 - year - old Zaharadeen Bello is also attracting interest from overseas, with Portuguese setup Boavista inviting him for trials, with a view to a deal in the January transfer window.
