Official : Liverpool Cut Short Sheyi Ojo Loan Deal With Wolves
Published: January 07, 2016
Through a statement posted on their official webpage, English Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that Anglo - Nigerian winger Sheyi Ojo has been recalled by his parent club Liverpool.
The England youth international was due to spend the remainder of the season at the Molineux Stadium but The Reds have cut short his loan spell due to his lack of playing opportunities in the last few months.
“We thank Sheyi for what he has done for us and we thank Liverpool as well,” said Head Coach Kenny Jackett to wolves.co.uk.
“He had a big effect for us coming on as an impact substitute.
“He is still young and I think he has a big future and with time and experience will go on to become a very good player.”
Sheyi Ojo made 19 appearances for Wolves in all competitions, scoring three goals.
