Chisom Chikatara Offered Three-Year Deal By Wydad Casablanca
Published: January 29, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Wydad Casablanca are in pole position to secure the signature of Super Eagles rising star Chisom Chikatara in the summer transfer market.
It is all but confirmed that the Abia Warriors sensation will depart the Umuahia-based team in the coming months, as the striker has been offered a three-year contract by the Moroccan Botola Pro side.
Abia Warriors and Chisom Chikatara are being cautious in announcing the transfer as a done deal because they are yet to be paid a transfer fee by Wydad Casablanca at this moment in time.
The 21-year-old will hold a meeting with Abia Warriors CEO, Emeka Inyama, on Friday night to discuss details of the contract offered by Wydad.
Though the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the quarterfinals, Chikatara made a name for himself at the African Nations Championship, netting four goals in three matches.
