This website can exclusively report that the Nigeria international penned a one-year contract with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua on Saturday, February 13, with the three-time Chinese champions retaining the option to extend his deal by twelve months.
British-based intermediary Tony Harris brokered the deal with top American lawyer Soroosh Abdi and the parties will meet Martins in China by Tuesday, February 16 to formalize the transfer.
The 31-year-old frontman previously starred for Reggiana, Inter Milan, Newcastle United, Wolfsburg and Rubin Kazan.
