Manchester City Loanee Nwakali Finally Makes Pro Debut For IK Start

IK Start are without a win after three rounds in the Norwegian Eliteserien following their 1-0 loss to Viking at the Sparebanken Sør Arena (Kristiansand) on Saturday afternoon.
Nigeria U20 international Chidiebere Nwakali finally made his professional debut, coming off the bench in the 70th minute with the outcome of the game already decided.
There was a lot of Nigerian interest in this game, with Suleiman Abdullahi and Samuel Adegbenro starting for Viking, while Idemokon was handed a starting berth as well by the Start coach.
Ex-Flying Eagles striker Abdullahi netted the match-winner for Viking in the 27th minute,firing home from 11 meters.
Nwakali, who has been handed the number seven shirt, is on loan at IK Start from English Premier League giants Manchester City.
