Nigeria Internationals Taiwo,Oduamadi On Song In HJK Helsinki Win

HJK Helsinki continue to top the Finnish Veikkausliiga standings courtesy of their 2-1 win against PK-35 Vantaa on Saturday afternoon at the Myyrmäen jalkapallostadion (Vantaa).
Coach Mika Lehkosuo’s side took the lead in the 58th minute through Nigeria international and AC Milan loanee Nnamdi Oduamdi but HJK were pegged back nine minutes later when Ristola found the net.
The game was heading for a draw until the 77th minute when Super Eagles left-back Taye Taiwo netted the winning goal.
Oduamadi, 25, has now scored twice in his last two matches for the Finnish powerhouse after firing blanks in his first six, while Taye Taiwo opened his account for the season in the league.
Up next, HJK Helsinki host Inter Turku, who pay the wages of Faith Friday Obilor, Philiip Njoku and Kennedy Nwanganga.
