Victor Osimhen Resumes Full Training With Flying Eagles After Injury Scare
Published: May 16, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that ex-Golden Eaglets star Victor Osimhen has ended speculation about his availability for Saturday’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Burundi after he resumed full training with the Nigeria U20s on Monday morning.
There had been fears in a section of the media that the Wolfsburg trainee would not travel with the squad to Bujumbura after pulling his shoulder in last week’s friendly against the Olympic Team, but the medical department of the national team insisted that he is fit.
Having undergone an individual session in the last two workouts, Victor Osimhen trained without any discomfort on Monday morning.
Training started at 0700 hours at the Fifa Goal Project in Abuja and is scheduled to last for about two and a half hours.
