Tottenham Hotspur Starlet Oduwa, Liverpool Striker Awoniyi Link Up With Nigeria U23s Squad

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria U23 international Nathan Oduwa beat the Wednesday deadline for invited foreign-based professionals to report to camp.

The Tottenham Hotspur winger made his debut against Brazil in March,and it remains to be seen if he is given a run-out by coach Samson Siasia for Thursday’s scrimmage against a local team.

Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi and KV Oostende’s Saviour Godwin were both seen at the Team Hotel on Thursday morning.

Skipper Azubuike Okechukwu has already arrived in camp following the deadline issued by Siasia for invited overseas based players to join the team or risk being axed from the Olympic squad.

The Nigeria U23s are preparing for the Suwon Invitational Tournament in South Korea.
