Published: June 03, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Nigeria U23s have been handed a fitness boost ahead of Saturday’s game against Denmark at the Suwon Invitational Tournament, with news that Tottenham Hotspur’s Nathan Oduwa has resumed training.
Oduwa’s substitution in the 76th minute against South Korea on Thursday raised some eyebrows as the winger was introduced eight minutes before the end of the first half at the Suwon World Cup Stadium.
Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia substituted him as a precaution after he was hit by a ball in his groin region.
The 20-year-old Nathan Oduwa trained without limitations on Friday and is available for selection tomorrow against the Scandinavians.
The Bloomsbury-born Oduwa made his second appearance for the Nigeria U23s against South Korea.
