Another Premier League Club To Rival West Ham For Nigeria U20s Star Chukwudi Agor?
Published: June 03, 2016
Nigeria U20 international Chukwudi Agor is attracting huge interest from the English Premier League, according to the player’s bonafide intermediary Allwell Nwakali.
It is confirmed that West Ham have tabled a €200,000 bid to sign the talented midfielder from nursery team ASJ Academy but the Hammers face competition, with a representative of Tottenham Hotspur opening talks with his camp about his signing.
“The West Ham contract is something we have to study, we can not rush and sign a contract because it is West Ham, ” said Allwell Nwakali to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We expect other clubs to come for him, he’s doing pretty well, we want to see whether we can have other offers before we decide.
“An intermediary called me that he has something from Tottenham Hotspur. When I go to London to talk with Arsenal, I will find out if they are truly interested in him. ”
Indeed, Chukwudi Agor is doing pretty well at the moment, having scored the game-winner for the Flying Eagles in their 1-0 win over Burundi in an Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifier last month.
