For the first time in France, no player with Nigerian roots made the Three Lions starting line-up as they played a goalless draw with Slovakia at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard (Saint-ètienne).
On 60 minutes, Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli entered into the fray while Ross Barkley remained on the bench for the third straight game.
