Published: June 23, 2016
Nigeria youth international Isaac Success and his bonafide representative Dominic Egbukwu have denied reports that the Granada striker has agreed to join Watford in England on a five-year contract.
The 20-year-old is presently at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos waiting to board a plane to Andalusia, Spain, and clarified that his switch to the Hornets is not yet done and dusted.
“I have not yet agreed a five-year contract with Watford, I have been in Benin City on vacation, so there’s no way I would have signed any contract, ” says Isaac Success to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“There is nothing official yet, I am going back to Spain today. I think I would like to play for any team in the Premier League but Watford are more interested. ”
Dominic Egbukwu, speaking on behalf of French agent Oliver Noah added : “Nothing has been agreed, I am surprised to learn from you that there are reports he has signed a five-year deal. We are still negotiating with Watford. ”
Success is on the radar of teams based in France, Italy, Russia and Spain, however, Watford are in pole position to secure his signature this summer as a result of their relationship with the club that own his sporting rights, Udinese.
