Southampton Whizkid Olomola Reveals He Will Not Reject Nigeria Call Up ; England Still In The Race

Southampton teenage sensation Olufela Olomola will not reject an invitation to Nigeria’s youth teams.
However, when the former Arsenal youth-teamer was put on the spot, he refused to categorically state that he has committed his international future to the Super Eagles, meaning England are also in the race to cap him.
“Yes, most definitely I am interested in playing for Nigeria but I have not been contacted by the Nigeria Football Federation, ” Olufela Olomola told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Neither Nigeria or England have approached me and it is too early now to talk about my international future.”
Born in London, Olomola is no longer an unknown quantity, having made the Saints 18-man squad for their Premier League clash against Sunderland in March and is training with the first team at the moment.
The 18-year-old was in action for forty five minutes on Friday as Southampton beat DC United U23s in a pre-season friendly at the RFK Stadium.
