NFF Might Withdraw Babawo Intermediary License; Forges Passport Of Golden Eaglets Trainee Gali Falke
Published: July 16, 2016
Babawo Mohammed might have his intermediary license withdrawn by the Nigeria Football Federation due to a passport saga in the camp of the Golden Eaglets
The issue was blown open only last week when the NFF realized that Gali Falke, a midfielder from Jos, has two international passports.
The NFF got to know that Babawo Mohammed was responsible for producing another passport through his contacts at the Nigeria Immigration Service.
The NFF are considering withdrawing his license to save the body’s image from possible media scandal.
Gali Falke is a highly gifted midfielder and a fantastic footballer by every standard. The controversy might affect his continual stay in the camp.
His father, Ismaila Falke, was dropped from the Super Eagles team ahead of the 1990 African Cup of Nations due to the fine form of Abdul Aminu before NFF submitted Nigeria’s squad for the competition in Algeria.
The Sports Minister, Barr. Solomon Dalung is following happenings at the U17 Camp and is not happy at the controversies surrounding Manu Garba and the various levels of scandals rocking the camp.
