Austria Vienna have progressed to the next round of the Europa League after thrashing Kukesi 4-1 on Thursday night, with Nigerian striker Kayode Olanrewaju bagging a brace.

The ex-Flying Eagles star opened scoring in the 16th minute before doubling the Austrian team’s lead 12 minutes out of intermission. He was replaced in the 70th minute.

Elsewhere on Thursday, Nigeria U23 international Umar Aminu celebrated making Nigeria’s roster for the Olympic Games by netting a hat-trick in Osmanlispor FK’s 5-0 rout of Zimbru.

He scored from the spot in the 16th minute, then added a second ten minutes later before giving the Turkish side a three-goal cushion four minutes after the restart.

At the Skagerak Arena in Norway, PAS Giannina lost 3-1 to Chukwuma Akabueze’s Odd Grenland, with the Nigeria international finding the back of the net in the 57th minute.

Odd will not compete in the third round after losing the first leg 3-0 . Bentley worked a 90-minute shift.
