Genk Midfielder Ndidi Sees His Stock Sky Rocket After Kalmar Offered 150,000 Euros To Sign HimAllnigeriasoccer.com understands that Swedish Allsvenskan side Kalmar attempted to sign Wilfred Ndidi before he was acquired by Racing Genk in January 2015.

Ndidi, who was touted to be the most exciting player in the Flying Eagles during their get-together in Kaduna, impressed the Kalmar brass at trials and was offered a three-year professional contract which his minders rejected.

The Guldfågeln Arena outfit were willing to pay Nath Boys 150,000 euros to secure his signature, with a fifty percent sell-on clause inserted into the agreement.

With the defensive midfielder now valued in the region of eight million euros by Genk, he has seen his stock rise to 53 times the amount Kalmar offered since he joined the Belgian club eighteen months ago or so.

The 19-year-old Ndidi has been linked with possible moves to Watford and Hamburg in the summer transfer window.
