One Of Football Good Guys Aluko Pleased To Debut For Fulham
Published: August 06, 2016
Nigeria international Sone Aluko was delighted to make his competitive debut for Fulham in their impressive 1-0 win over one of the favorites for the Championship title, Newcastle United, on Friday night.
The 27-year-old, who joined Fulham on a two-year deal this summer, went the distance at Craven Cottage.
“That performance tonight is exactly why I’ve been saying all week in interviews we’re a quietly confident team. Beat a very good team there, ” Aluko tweeted.
“Good start to a long season so nothing to get carried away with but 100% a confidence building result. Atmosphere was electric! Loved that.”
The North East reporter for Sky Sports, Keith Downie, has called the Super Eagle one of football’s good guys!
