Former Super Eagles invitee Fanendo Adi took his tally to 17 goals in all competitions after finding the back of the net in Portland Timbers’s 2-1 win over C.D. Dragón in the CONCACAF Champions League on Tuesday.
With the scoreboard reading 1-0 in favour of the Salvadoran team, the Nigerian equalized in the 79th minute before Nagbe’s game-winner in the 90th minute.
Fanendo Adi, who was introduced in the 60th minute, scored when he fired home with his left foot following a poor clearance by a C.D. Dragón player.
